1. Personal information

1. (a) Account activity. You need a KonoLive account to login in the KonoLive application. KonoLive asks for some personal information when you create a KonoLive account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.

A KonoLive account allows you to access many of our services that require registration. When you use the KonoLive application, we may record information about your usage, such as when you use KonoLive, the size of your contact list and the contacts you collaborate with, and the frequency and size of information and files transfers.

Information displayed or clicked on in the KonoLive interface (including interface elements, settings, and other information) is also recorded.

Your IP address will be recorded as well as information regarding the operating system or browser you use. Although the aforementioned description gives you a good idea of the kind of account activity information we may collect, it is not an exhaustive list of such information.


2. (b) Content. We will store the contents of discussion in our own servers and deliver when relevant the files to the Box.net account we have created for you at KonoLive registration, or deliver when relevant to your Google Docs account when used. 2. Uses

1. (a) We use this information internally to deliver the best possible service to you, such as improving the KonoLive user interface and maintaining a consistent and reliable user experience.


2. (b) When you use KonoLive, some people including those appearing in your contact list may be able to see your online presence, username, KonoLive address, and any information that you choose to add to your profile, including images, links, and custom status indicators.


3. (c) We may relay content for users in some cases.


4. (d) We might share aggregated information about our customers, sales, and traffic to our partners and advertisers. However you are not identified in this information.

3. Your choices

1. (a) You can change your KonoLive account settings at any time in the "User" section of the KonoLive downloadable client. You may, for example, modify your profile or change your online/offline availability.
3. (b) You can uninstall the KonoLive software at any time through the "Add or Remove Programs" Control Panel. When you uninstall the software, KonoLive and its copies of all items are deleted from your computer. Your other files and applications remain unaffected.

KonoLive is dedicated to the fundamentals of protecting your privacy. Personal information may be collected from our visitors on a voluntary basis or as stipulated herein. This may include name, e-mail address, address and telephone number.

Additionally, our web servers may use cookies to track unique (non-identifiable) visitors to our website. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, etc. KonoLive uses this information inter alia to measure the use of our site and to improve our content and services.

KonoLive does everything it can to keep all information from our online visitors secure against unauthorized access and use. However, while we have taken efforts to guard such information, we cannot guarantee that your information will not be disclosed or accessed by accidental circumstances or by the unauthorized acts of others.

According to the French law "Informatique et Libertés" of 1978, you have access to your personal data at any time. You may access and correct your personal information and privacy preferences by writing us by regular mail and by including a copy of your identity card (mandatory).
